For the baseball fans out there, Baseball Life in Youngsville is the place to go. Opening back in the Summer of 2024, Baseball Life brings you gear and apparel for many local teams; Houston Astros, LSU Tigers, Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns, Texas Rangers, and even the Savannah Bananas.
Owners and father-son duo Robert and Christian Wells will help you with your baseball needs and more at 1001 Savoy Rd, Suite 7 in Youngsville. Open from 10 am-7 pm Tuesday-Thursday, 10 am-6 pm on Fridays, and on Saturdays from 9 am-5 pm, Baseball Life brings the baseball lifestyle to south Louisiana and abroad!
Where did the inspiration behind opening Baseball Life come from?
The inspiration came from trying to get stuff for my son when he was playing baseball. There was nothing around here that was available and we either had to go online or to the stadium to get baseball lifestyle stuff. We figured that was something we could bring to this area.
From Baseballism to dugout mugs, you can get your favorite team and player’s jersey. You can get what you’re looking for here instead of going to the team stadium or online.
What do you want your business to be known for?
We want Baseball Life to be known for our love of baseball, promoting our passion for the sport, and everything that goes with it. The main focus is the clothing and lifestyle of baseball. We have something for everyone, from players to parents to the game’s officials.
Who were your favorite baseball players growing up?
Robert, “Ken Griffey Jr. and Lance Berkman were my favorites growing up.”
Christian, “I was always a Bregman person personally and I’ve always been a Justin Verlander fan for sure. That’s someone I always watched as a pitcher, Verlander, and recently (Paul) Skenes. He’s been very unique and blowing up baseball. Skenes has changed up everything about pitching.”
Why should people come stop by Baseball Life?
If you have any love for the game, we have something here for you. There is something here for anybody who has any interest in the game. We’re a local company that’s here to help support other local companies.
Are there any special promotions or products that people should know about?
For us, we have our local branded items which are baseball-life stuff. We also have the largest selection of Baseballism apparel in the area and probably most of the south. Our wide range of jerseys goes from local collegiate programs to MLB teams to the Savannah Bananas. We can customize just about anything. Balls, gloves, decorations, ornaments, corporate stuff; you name it, we can do it.
